What is Giftonix?

Giftonix is a QUICK and EASY gift giving app that has been specifically designed to provide people a way of giving a simple Gift. With Giftonix anyone can easily purchase items from your store and Gift it to another person through the convenience of the Giftonix app, which they can then redeem when it’s convenient via the app.

What are the benefits of working with Giftonix?

Partnering with Giftonix gives you another risk-free sales avenue with no ongoing costs. There are also no upfront costs and we only take a small percentage of each sale. Giftonix will bring customers into your store as they will need to redeem items. This also gives you the opportunity of further sales and those profits are 100% yours! Will Giftonix be a good fit for my company?

What will it cost my business?

There is no initial cost, or ongoing costs for you to join Giftonix. As well as no start up cost, Giftonix only takes a small percentage fee of the total purchase. To find out more please contact us at [email protected].

Does it take long to get set up with Giftonix?

No. Our set up processes are simple and doesn’t take long at all. We work with you to ensure you are up and running quickly. We will support you throughout the set up process and with any ongoing questions.

Can I upload my own items?

Giftonix will provide you with an online portal for you to upload full details and a picture of your items. Alternatively the team at Giftonix can do this for you if you prefer. We would suggest providing us with one image and description when you first sign up, as your store will be live in the app as soon as we create your login for the portal.

How many items can I upload?

The more the better. There is no limit to how many you upload and we would recommend having a variety of items and/or vouchers for customers to purchase.

Can I upload a voucher or does it have to be an item?

You can upload either vouchers or individual items or both. If you want to create a special Giftonix combo, then that is up to you.

How do I see what items have been sold/redeemed?

As part of the initial setup we will provide you with a login to a website dashboard for your store(s). You will be able to see items sold, items redeemed and be able to download a spreadsheet to keep track of what is happening in your store.

Who sets the purchase price for items listed on Giftonix?

You have full control of setting the price of all items. We would suggest keeping pricing the same as in store, but we will not tell you how much to sell items for.

Can I purchase my own items to gift to others?

Yes. Anyone who has downloaded the app and created a login can purchase items.

What can I sell on Giftonix?

Giftonix has been designed to make gift giving quick and easy. If you have a product that others would like to buy as a gift, then you can probably sell it on Giftonix. All items listed on Giftonix must be legal. Giftonix has the right to refuse/remove items if they are not appropriate. What is Giftonix?

Where is Giftonix available?

Giftonix is available for use in Australia and New Zealand. Other countries will be added in the near future.

How do I start using Giftonix?

  1. Download the app and create a login.
  2. Search through the multiple vendors available and select your item/s.
  3. Place your order and send it to a friend.

What if something goes wrong when I try to make a purchase?

In the unlikely event that something goes wrong when you try to redeem your item, please contact our support team at [email protected] with your name and information about the gift and we will be in touch ASAP.

What do I need to redeem a gift?

To redeem a gift given to you, you will need your mobile device, the Giftonix App and a wifi connection. You will need to hand over your mobile device, so the store can enter the redemption code or push the redeem button, as proof that the item has been successfully redeemed.

What if I redeem my gift before I am in the store?

A text box will pop up once you push redeem to remind you to be in the store with a member of staff before you confirm. You are responsible for your gift/s until they are redeemed. If you redeem a gift before you are in store, then it is not refundable.

Is my personal information safe?

Yes, your information is safe. We require minimal information to set up your account. Your payment methods are safe and secure. For further information please refer to our privacy policy.

How much does it cost to use Giftonix?

Giftonix charges the price that the vendors set. There are no extra surcharges. If the item you select costs $20, that is how much you will pay.

Note: Prices and offers on the Giftonix website and in the Giftonix app may differ from prices and offers in stores.

What if I want to change my purchased item? Can I get a refund?

All purchases are final and complete. Please choose carefully.

Can I redeem my gifts for cash?

Gifts can not be exchanged for cash.

Can I redeem a gift more than once? Can I share a gift with more than one person?

You can share a gift with more than one person, but it may only be redeemed by one person. If a second person tries to redeem the same gift they will receive an ‘Error’ message and will not be given the item.

What if I have a problem with my order?

Our aim is to help. If you have a problem with a purchased item, please contact our support team at [email protected] and we’ll look into your issue.

Can I apply other discount codes to Giftonix purchases?

Sorry, Giftonix prices are set by individual vendors and external discounts/promotions cannot be applied to purchases.

Where do I find my personal Giftonix gifts to redeem?

You can find your Giftonix gifts by opening the Giftonix app, logging in and tapping on the ‘My Gifts’ tab on the top right.

How do I share my purchases in the app?

After you choose and purchase your gift, a page will open that will allow you to add a message to send with your gift. You will be able to share the gift through; email, sms, Facebook messenger, WhatsApp and more.

Can I share gifts that have been given to me?

Yes. If you go into your ‘Gifts to Redeem’ in the My Gifts tab, you can open any gift you have and simply push the ‘Re-gift’ button in the top right corner and follow the prompts.

How long is a gift valid for?

All gifts will be at the discretion of the vendor terms and conditions.

Can my gifts be used in other countries?

Giftonix gifts are only redeemable in the country of purchase.

How can I refer a store to Giftonix?

If you are a store owner or would like to suggest a store for us to approach to invite to join the Giftonix team, please fill out the ‘Get In Touch’ form on the Giftonix website (www.giftonix.com). Or email us at [email protected] with store details.
